I read about the after-life...
With the A Levels nearing, people are talking about higher education and scholarships. And I get this feeling that many are a little naive in thinking that if you can make it to those top universities and colleges and/or get those prized scholarships you'll get the best jobs and you can lead a comfortable life after. I don't want to spoil the dreams, but things will change.
There are always factors in determining satisfaction that aren't always black and white. And you'll never know how the world around you will change. Economic, political and social conditions will change and that overrated piece of paper could soon mean nothing or it could make you king of the world.
I believe in staying on my toes and doing my best at every opportunity and fighting for what I believe in. At the end of the day, it's about how good you really are. And if you really are that good, you'll be able to stay ahead of the pack under any circumstance.
